There is a small drainage hole at the bottom which gets clogged. You have to look carefully to see it, but it's there!

Could say its a design fault, but with regular cleaning it won't block again. ;)

There is a drain hole at the bottom of the well, stick a thin bit of wire down to unblock it old chum. Oh I see Monkey Man has got in before me.:bashhead:

OK bonzo, dear chap, it is not at all that difficult, one would have thought, to understand that it is not a very polite thing to do to post silly answers to questions posted by a new member of this forum in their introduction thread, or any other thread for that matter, when you have no positive input . I would ask you to please desist from doing so, as it is not the first time and I am starting to feel like a school teacher. As you know where the play ground is on this forum, please use it. In other words.......

If I see this kind of s*** again, I am going to f***ing nuke you and give you a f***ing perma ban.
 
No, just a blocked drain. Mine used to do that you will need to clear the drain hole located in the rubber just below the filler neck. I used compressed air but wire and a bike pump would do the same job.

Well the sun is out here in Scotland. Tropical. So good excuse to get the top down and get the most out of my new acquisition before the winter.
