Wanted Seat controls and bushes

I am struggling to find a replacement passenger side seat height control for a 1998 Z3. The motor is OK, assuming there is only one, because the seat will go forwards and backwards without problem. It is, however, stuck at its highest position and the switch seems locked.

How much approximately should I pay for replacement bushes under the front seats? Both starting to jump .

Any help on either issue greatly appreciated and I hope all are enjoying some long sunny days whilst they last.

There are two motors under the seat, one for up and down the other for forward and back. If the motor is stuck sometimes a few light taps with a hammer whilst operating the switch will free it.

IIRC I paid about £8 for my seat bushes a few months ago.

Sorry not a clue about prices, maybe a couple of hours labour maybe more if it's the first time they've done them. I think most on here have done it themselves, including me. Once the seats are out [very heavy] it's quite straightforward. There's numerous guides on the forum to help.

So having found the spacers, that I have had for ages, decided it needed doing….so an early start today

So the offending article…. Why are things so bloody heavy these days ….. or might just be me getting weaker

Removed the seat belt bolt (16mm socket). Then the 4 bolts for the seat 2 x 16mm and 2 x 13mm).
Came out easy as greased when...
