I know it's not a Zed but this has been my transport for the past two weeks on a trip to Namibia.
2.4l six speed diesel automatic 4x4 with two batteries, two fuel tanks, 50 litre fresh water tank in the back, a serious compressor powered by the second battery and two spare wheels.
Perfect for all the gravel roads,, sand dunes etc.

And add the essential extras of a spare, and axe and a dust brush.
 
Rugged machine that. The two places I regret not visiting before returning to the UK was Namibia and the Okavango.

I believe Namibia is really really nice. And I'm a bit of a fan of Windhoek Lager if they're still making it . . .
