Hello, I am in the process of looking for a Z3 with the 2.8 engine. I have joined the forum to carry some research before going ahead and viewing cars. I am based in South Wales near Abergavenny. I have owned various cars over the years including TVR, Lotus, Porsche and BMW. I currently own a Lotus but I have always liked the Z3. My wife has previously owned a Z4.

Good luck with your search, you maybe interested to know we have a Zedshed Cymru Group here in South Wales on Whats App all Z3 and Z4 enthusiasts spread across South Wales, Bristol and beyond. We help each other out with jobs on our cars usually at my home garage in Newport which has a lift, hence the name Zed Shed Cymru. If you want to join in PM me your mobile phone number and I will add you in. The shed is run on the basis of member supplies parts etc and job gets done in the shed, left to the individual to decide on a donation towards running costs, don't charge for my time.
