newbie Z3

the americans have that iconic highway ROUTE 66 ...and what do we have?....M1 aka Watling St ....built by the romans and parts of it look like they are original build..The M25, the worlds biggest orbital carpark...and lastly the the M5 the best way to be stuck in traffic on the way west.

we do have some lovely B roads though...

Where ever I go (with the open Zed), if there are B roads, I unmark the option "motorway" from the GPS! And B roads are every where available....
Only the rain or the too low temperature make me close the roof; but I avoid leaving home if the weather report it's not at least 60% positive.
I think we, all Zpeople, think the same. Why to buy a soft top car and use it covered?.......:grumpy:

couldn't agree more zeti!....

I have a 1940's leather flying jacket with a sheepskin collar and driving gloves...if its not wet its roof down, heater on, and off we go!:coolsteer)

@hard top Mike you worked around the Europe almost everywhere!;)
A real globetrotter! You must have alot to share!

OK, here is one. In Koper (Slovenia) I used to pay Euro 50 for a whole pig that the locale butcher brought to the bar after having cooked it for 2 days in some sort of underground oven !!! Then it was party time. The butcher staid to dismember the pig and the local baker came in with the bread and other people came in with their home made wine (good stuff) and we also drank lots of Pivo, and I got paid while doing it..........:D A bit different to a Sunday roast lunch in a British pub.
Lots of good friends down there.

Yes, Hard Top, this is what we want to hear!!!:scorecard:
