Hi everyone,
I thought I’d introduce myself..
I’ve recently added a Titan Silver Z3 2.2 to my F20 M135i. It’s not a car I looked for -it belonged to my uncle, who passed away last Christmas.
Steff was an enthusiast. He’d owned interesting cars over the years and he’s the reason I’m into BMW’s. The Z3 was the last one he picked up before passing, he’d intended to restore it, but never got the chance.
He left the Z3 to me, and I’ve decided it’s a car I’ll be keeping. Rather than changing it into something it isn’t, my plan is to restore it properly and keep it as close to original as possible. It needs a bit of work after sitting for a while, but that’s all part of the project.
I’m completely new to Z3 ownership, so I’m sure I’ll have plenty of questions. I’ve already spent some time reading through the forum and it’s obvious there’s a wealth of knowledge here, so I’m looking forward to learning from people who know these cars inside out.
I’ll probably post updates as I work through the restoration, and hopefully, over time, I’ll get the car back to a condition that Steff would have been proud of.
Thanks for having me, and I look forward to being part of the community.
