Evening all new member here south wales based had my z4 3.0 for about 3 months now loving it so far but keep getting a 2882 and 2883 bank 1+2 mixture preparation fault any ideas lol I've replaced the intake boot but the code comes back after around 40 miles ish lol im thinking about smoke test?

Hi thanks yes hopefully someone will be able to help it more annoying than anything lol car runs fine otherwise

Hi Dave and to the forum from me too in Stafford. You don't say what engine you've got but in general they all need a sealed intake system. So yes, a smoke test would find any small air leaks.

Hi cheers I've bought a cheap smoke test machine to see if I have any leaks lol
