Hello,
Well, at 62 years old, I was finally able to buy a beautiful 98 Z3 2.8. :-)
I like joining forums for cars or motorcycles I get primarily for the shared technical info. This is the first BMW I've owned but it's the one I'd most have wanted to have. Such a classic look. Mine is a single owner 5 speed with 81k miles and it's in perfect condition. So beautiful. I've developed a technique for getting in with top up or down and getting out with top up or down, without banging my head. It's all about cranking my head over just as I enter the door frame. Pretty impressive to anyone watching. Driving this takes me back to my first car at 17, a 1970 Opel GT. The biggest difference is I don't need a hill to start it. Awesome. Anyway, hello.

Hi and :welcome: to the forum from me too in Stafford, England.

Welcome :drinks:

And now the spending starts. We feel your pain.

Oh, that's funny! Yes, in preparation to fix all the trouble spots, I've already ordered a flywheel/clutch/pressure plate, the transmission shift pin kit, an an aluminum radiator, thermostat housing, steel water pump, all new water pipes and hoses, PCV stuff, plugs, crank sensor, O2 sensors, and every other little thing that I've read to repair before it lets me down. So......yeah........... do NOT tell my wife. ;-)
