It could be a generational thing. I tried to explain to my son why I loved the Z3, but not the shape and styling of the Z4 and he said, "Dad, that's the reason why I like the Z4!"

I may have said this before, but here goes again, I hated the Z4 when it came out and TBH I didn't used to like the Z3 either but since I've owned a 3 my opinion has changed, obviously. I drove a Z4 a couple of weeks ago at work and it was truly a revelation to me, I was impressed and I may end up buying one in the future. When I was looking for a replacement for my MX5 I was looking towards a Merc SLK till a mate at work said " Had I considered a Z3?. I hadn't, then I did and here we are now. IF we all liked the same cars it would be a dull old world.. The owners are irrelevant really, if they are snobs, so what, they don't bother us lesser mortals.
