Model of Z
2.2 Individual
Recently got myself a Z3. Its a 2.2 Individual model, in sapphire black with walnut seats, handbrake, gear gaiter and door inserts. It has M suspension, heated sports seats, electric roof and appears to be pretty much original with no mods - though has done just over 100,000 miles! Looking forward to the summer - and to using the forum for some help when I need it!

Welcome @Montyzzz :welcome:,

Lovely looking Zed you have there. Nice to see some of the 'individual' choices some people make when ordering their cars. :scorecard:

Welcome from us as well and from a nice part of the world.

That interior looks really different.
Don't just wait for summer, we were out the other weekend as it was a nice day roof down smiles on our faces and odd looks from our kids and other drivers but we enjoyed ourselves so as TaffZee says.

Welcome aboard HMS Zorg and what a great looking zed you have landed, loving the interior and roll hoop colour.

Thanks for the welcome messages. I've taxed it for the year, so will keep it going through the winter, but just for those dry sunny days. Found out last weekend just how cold your hands can get driving a car. The walnut seems to be quite rare, wasn't sure when I first seen it advertised, but I think it works quite well to give a retro look. Done about 350 miles to date and enjoyed every minute.

What a great looking car! Welcome to the forum, where you will no doubt find some very helpful advice, or condolences when needed. I would suggest you find a BMW touring group and take a long hard drive to see what breaks. My guess: nothing, but you will gain trust in your new used car. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum , hope you have as much fun as I do in your Z and on the forum :)

:welcome: from another 2.2 owner. Enjoy...

really like the interior, lovely combination with the black and tan..

and of course welcome..!

just to echo what brian 4 said,

don't wait till summer , mine is my year round ride and has done 14k since purchase in may..these little cars are bullet proof, and are fun to drive in almost all conditions...the only issues I have had are windscreen washer pump,(replaced for £6 on ebay) and the power hood microswitch which I replaced with one from maplins at the grand cost of £3...per a fantastic wiki article on this very forum,

with the yearly service including consumables at my local indy costing £195 inc VAT, so far servicing wise per mile, this car has been cheaper to run than my vespa GTV 250,which cost nearly £300 on the last time it was done..

purchasing a Z3 was one of the best decisions I have ever made car wise and it rates so highly on the smile-ometer it's ridiculous, so much fun for so little money:)

Welcome to the Forum
A very tidy car

I like that interior. Welcome!
