hi all. I am new to your forum

Hello mark, you might get remarks about these cars being hairdressers cars.
Although it's the truth there is no need to worry!

Well yes, that's true, the 1.9ers are hairdressers cars, you just have to accept that, and as BMG says," Don't worry (be happy.)" :ymdevil: A warm welcome by the way.

Bonzo.

How is a 1.9er a hairdressers car and an //M not? They look the same and have the same scissor storage space, one just gets to you quicker than the other in some circumstances ;)

Hi welcome from me as well. A trip down the Avon valley and New Forest sounds good. I'm from Southampton originally and my wife is from Wigan (she's never been back either) so know your bit of the country fairly well, we live in the midlands now.

Yeah, I guess you can fit in more hair appointments per day with an//M !

Welcome to facts about Canada you don't likely know. We get 8% of our yearly snowfall in April. Hope you enjoy the car as well as the forum. And just to clariy for your friends, my male hairdresser gets more"tips" from female clients than the georgeous women he works with get propositions. And Frankie's right where are those girls? I'm actually getting bored watching the car wash video. JIM

I'm not allowed to drive fast with the governor in the car so you will be OK:) but she's not always around thou:ymdevil:[/Q

Funny how much the car changes according to who is with us and what day it is
Monday to Friday..work horse alone...Saturday..shopping and garden centres with wife..Sunday....playtime on a b road with my MP3 :joyful:

A warm welcome from Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire. Nice looking zed.

Thank you for your welcome...its very kind
To be honest all z3 have the same reputation.. people just cut more hair with a quicker car=))=))

One day last summer, I had just washed Zelda when Mrs Bonzo came out and asked me to take her to Tesco to get some shopping. I said I wanted to give Zelda a run to dry off her brakes and she said, " Fine, I don't need a big shop." I parked, top down, in the car park next to a big Audi 4x4. The driver was waiting in the Audi and he looked down at me and said, "Lovely car." I thanked him as Mrs. Bonzo made a meal of getting out of her seat to go into the shop. When Mrs Bonzo came back with the shopping, the Audi was still there. I asked if she wanted a hand with it and she said in a loud voice for the Audi drivers benefit, " I think I can get it all in ok if I move the hair dryer out of the way." The Audi driver had a good old chuckle, but as I started to pull away he said, "It's Still a lovely car mate." for the benefit of Mrs. Bonzo! I just smiled to myself, long enough for Mrs. Bonzo to notice it. She said," What?" I said "Nothing." But she knew!

A cowboy walks into a German car showroom and says, "Audi." (Well I thought it was funny!)

Bonzo.

:bashhead: They say the same about the old MX5 too but what the hell I get it at work from a bald man and a nearly bald man neither of whom have a Z !!!. NUFF said.

So it's clear now: better to be a hairdresser than drive a hairdryer! =))
Thanks Mrs Bonzo!

I have never met a hairdresser that drives a Z3, so why not name it after the people that drive them, mines a Metallurgists car.............

Bad Boys will be 'The Polishers Car' And it does him good like it bloody well should........Ha....

Matter of fact a Zed it's not suitable for somebody who's fixing other people's hair, because their own hair will not look to good after a ride with the Zed....:ymdevil:
On the other hand I will translate a Metallurgist car in a more popular expression: Heavy Metal car! Doesn't sounds great?:D

Welcome

I'm new to the forum too

They make you very welcome!!

Our hairdresser had a Mini and now she has one of those sporty little Citroen "things" but then again she has a family so a Z probably not ideal for her, BUT she does like mine!!
