Welcome! I bought a minter 2.2 a couple of months ago. They're great fun!
 
They are indeed mate well happy with mine got a number of bits to do to it though like induction and I want to get a few bits wrapped in gloss black and replace the wheels as they haven't been sprayed very well in black lol
 
Hello Greg, a big warm welcome from sunny Lincoln. Well it was sunny earlier. Great looking car, they're fantastic aren't they? This is the best Z3 forum IMHO.
 
Hi mate I would say the same about Leicester but if I'm honest the weather has been shocking since December I've had the top down 2 times in the 3 months I've owned her lol! This forum does see. Like its full of great people who are happy to help which is great

Hi guys me again lol I've been looking at the BMC inductions I'm assuming they all fit all engines I've looked and they don't do a carbon one for 2.2 engine just 2.8 will this fit the 2.2?

I know what you mean Greg I've not been a member here too long myself but do enjoy the banter. Getting to know my way around the site too . I think you are my nearest "neighbour" so to speak. I have had my car since Nov. 09. and have used it full time up to last year when I took her off the road for the winter and used through last summer and now she's sulking in the garage till May. Best Month was June 11. I think, I put the top down and never put it up (garaged) for a full month !! Awesome !!
 
Haha closest neighbours lol I have seen a few z3s in my area but none seem to be on here! I'm getting to know the site 2 fairly easy though tbf! I'm hoping to have the top Down a lot this year looking forward to it get some wind in my locks lol! May buy another day to day car and keep this tucked away as hate it when I'm driving to work on these dull days with dirty water covering her lol

Yeh should be the same if not would only need minor modification to make it fit as all the 6cyl engines apart from the ///M are pretty much the same in that area.

Congrats on getting the car by the way nice to see it come back into the family.

The 3.0 is also different Ian. It has a larger diameter. But i do believe the rest are the same. K&N do the filter for all models
Greg i have a Carbon Simota copy Air Filter you can have for £30. Bought it off the forum from another member for our 3.0 but it didnt fit, cant remember which engine it came off. so it went on our lads 2.5 compact till he sold it.

Hi bills do you have a photo of the filter you have? Is it like a simota replica? Thanks Joey it is a cracking looking car I never used to like any silver cars but this kinda works!! Love it
