Fellow Z3 owner and here and joined to contribute and search for answers.
I have a 2.2 sport and love it, looking to see what people in the Scottish area reccomend and maybe see if there are recomendatios for bodywork places (rust is starting to appear).

Welcome from Argyll. As others have said @Stevo7682 can probably point you in the right direction. I sold our Z3 in 2024 for a Z4 however I had the Z3 under sealed in 2020 by a company near Renfrew. Excellent job
