Hello from Tasmania, Australia

Welcome Cooper!! You're on the best forum I've ever found. These people will take care of us and make sure we have a good time. I'm in Canada waiting for my car to be exported from UK next month, then stored till I fly out and drive the 2500 miles to home. Enjoy your maiden voyage and good luck from a Canuk!! JIM

Wow, and I thought that I was going to have to wait a long time! I am getting edgy just waiting two weeks! Send a link to some pix of your car, what is it? I have been welcomed by so many people so far - I feel the love! hahaha. Hopefully one day I can meet up with some folks - perhaps when I make my way to Europe for a holiday in the next couple of years.

Guys [and girls?], I want to share some interesting information I found after quite a bit of searching...

You can get a full specification list of your Zed by using a VIN search from this site... It's really good as it is free, no need to subscribe, quick, and can print the report as a PDF!

All you need is the last 7 characters from the VIN.

Have fun.

Well, I've read almost every post and 'how to' regarding the Z3! I have learned so much and I want to say a big 'than you" :thankyou: to everyone that contributed and especially the patient moderators. I hope that I can make a positive contribution some time soon once I get a kilometres and experience in the Zed. I still have a lot to learn though.

Welcome to the forum from Great Yarmouth EAC :)

Well, I am heading over to Melbourne on Wednesday the 7th May to pick up the new arrived Zed!

After I pick her up I need to get a few things while there [door defenders - protectors from other people's car doors] and something else then I drive to the ship by 6:30 PM and set sail for Tasmania. Once I drive down from Davenport [2.5 hours drive] I get the car inspected for Tasmanian registration.

Can hardly wait to pick her up!

Thank you for responding to my introductory message. I live in Sydney and I have had the car for about 6 weeks. It is difficult to source low mileage examples of early Z3 cars in Australia and I too had to travel interstate to buy this car. Good luck with the car and keep in touch.
