Its a short season and these are wild mushrooms ,should be the same tomorrow :) have to try and find a home for them
We get lots around us but I am to scared to eat them as I don't know whats safe to eat, I even bought a book to ID them but so many are so alike

These are easy to recognise once you know but we’ve done it from when we were children Sarah can eat them raw they’re like catnip for her lol but in a pan with butter on a slice of bread

Shirl likes them fried with a drop of Sherry in the pan.

Tony.

When we stay at the Hotel at Manc. airport they do a bar burger with a Dutch cheese in it. I can't remember the name but boy is it tasty.

Hugh you have a nice collection. They look magic. I purchase spent mushroom compost for the garden to help break up the clay and in time I'm rewarded with a crop to eat so that's a bonus.

Bet they’re tasty being so freshly picked.

Truffles next?

Ya can't beat fresh picked wild mushrooms, if you're lucky you even get meat included.
Pick them early if your a vegetarian :)
