Compliments-always nice to hear

Driving around town earlier in the Z4 and I had a 'nice car' shouted out from a youngster as I drove past a group- made me smile and I gave him the thumbs up. Then when I was parking a bit later an elderly gentlemen drove past and waved at me, I waved back-do I know him-nope? Then he stopped by the side of the car and said that's lovely that is. Car is back in the garage now with a smile on its face

One thing I have found having a rather 'unusual looking' Z3 is there are a LOT of people who are interested in cars. Many more than I would ever have imagined.
I have not been out in mine yet without at least one comment, thumbs up, pictures being taken, shouts from the side of the road.
I was following a convertible the other day through town with it's roof down. The passenger, a teenager, stood up, turned around and started filming my car as we were driving down the road! That was a first.
