Wanted Central brake light

As the description, I need a central brake light with all the leds functioning. Z3 2001

I assume a white rather than red lens? Or are you not fussed?
Red will be much cheaper

Just compared prices for these on Z3 and Z4's on ebay, the Z3 offerings are outrageous prices compared to the Z4 replacements.

You’re not wrong theres a big difference. I’ve just chanced one on eBay for £20. Hopefully all the LED’s are working. It was pointed out to me yesterday that a couple of my bulbs have given up.

Are these replaceable LED i wonder.
Anyone got a spare thats given up might be worthwhile cracking it open, can't see why an LED strip cant be renewed.

Mine has old fashioned bulbs that can be replaced individually.

@Ianmc pre face-lift model zed 3 use bulbs but face-lift unit is Led.

You could possibly change the blown Led within the unit problem is Face-lift model light is a sealed unit its not meant to be opened so getting it apart would be a care required operation and then you would also need to make the unit watertight on re assembly.

I’ve fitted the red one, doesn’t overly offend me being the wrong colour
