F1 Zorg & Badger GP Fantasy Grand Prix 2017

You'd need a respirator to live there. Also handy in Syria.

You do indeed @Ianmc, I have worked down there, also the Chinese like spitting all over the place.

180 minutes of practice 17 minutes of action.
Haas driver Romain Grosjean: "I was getting a bit bored, sorry for everyone here. Not the best way to start the weekend, but it is the same thing for everyone."
  1. No running in second practice - medical helicopter unable to fly in bad weather
  2. First practice also disrupted
Lewis Hamilton
So sorry for all u either watching on TV or here at the track. We must find a solution to deal with weather issue.
Sat program: 3 practice sessions, qualifying Sunday morning and then race. Who's down for the switch up?

Chinese GP - Hamilton on pole

Summary
  1. Hamilton on pole, Vettel 2nd by 1,000th of a second from Bottas
  2. Mercedes and Ferrari swapping top times
  3. Giovinazzi crashes heavily, Verstappen out in Q1 with problem

Qualifying top 10

1) Hamilton 2) Vettel 3) Bottas 4) Raikkonen 5) Ricciardo 6) Massa 7) Hulkenberg 8) Perez 9) Kvyat 10) Stroll

Toto Wolff says the 1,000th of a second that separated Valtteri Bottas and Sebastian Vettel is equal to 5.9cm. Incredibly close.

Lewis Hamilton now has 63 career pole position, putting him within two of Ayrton Senna's record and five of Michael Schumacher's.

Mercedes AMGF1

FYI: The Shanghai lap record is a 1:32.238, set by M Schumacher back in the 2004 race... #LH44 has smashed that! #ChineseGP #F1 #Quali

One to watch - Max Verstappen.

The Dutchman lines up 16th on the grid after a technical problem meant he failed to get out of the first part of qualifying yesterday.

It's wet, he's got to come through the field - shades of Brazil 2016.
If we get a drive half as exciting as that from the Red Bull man, then it's going to be epic.

Sebastian Vettel thinks it is more like Silverstone than Shanghai. It's definitely wet out there, and it's so cold Daniel Ricciardo says he can feel his nose running.

Most podiums

1. Michael Schumacher (155)

2. Alain Prost (106)

3. Lewis Hamilton (105)

4. Fernando Alonso (97)

5. Sebastian Vettel (87)

Max Verstappen is on the move. He started 16th, now 4th, what a drive......

You only have to leave the door open a tiny bit for Max Verstappen - he will always go for it and that is why we love him.
I have to say, he caught Daniel Ricciardo napping there.

'I overtook nine cars on my first lap!'
Max Verstappen, who finished third: "It was a very challenging race but I really enjoyed it. I think I overtook nine cars in the opening lap so it was a very good race for me!

"I didn't have a lot of track time this weekend because didn't do much in qualifying so I wasn't expecting to finish on the podium having started in 16th.
