Thanks guys, I'm so happy with it.
Passed the MOT with advisories for corroded brake pipes. Not bad for a car that's been laid up off the road for over 6 mths.

Not had chance to do anything other than drive it from the test station to the ferry up to now (hood down as need a rear screen) and the car drives absolutely perfect.
Need to do an oil change asap as advised by a mechanic because it's been sitting for a while and give it a good clean.

Things I've noticed so far is wet carpet on drivers side, both in the footwell and under drivers seat. An electrical clicking coming from drivers seat after you switch of the engine off and the gear knob justs slides of in your hand.
Oh and no rear window.

The sound of the 2.2 6pot is just beautiful, I love it and I don't think I'd have got a better example for what it cost me.

On the ferry home now. Need to make space in my garage to park her and I think tomorrow I'll get stuck in on the first clean.

I've fallen madly in love already :scorecard:

Well done. Lotus White interior as well which is desirable.

Hope you didn't get pinged by an ANPR with no MOT though. MOT regs permit you to drive the car to the nearest MOT station (with a pre-booking) only ;)
I thought it was just a prebooked mot, not necessarily the nearest? :nailbiting:

I like the interior and can't wait to see how it cleans up. They are in pretty good nik but very dry...need to get some leather conditioner into it and then decide if I'm gonna colour them lotus white again.

Hmm....A little exterior chrome is okay, but IMHO not gills or windscreen surrounds. Too blingy!

I've got a new rear screen and a set of stone guards with your name on them lol :whistle:
If you want the rear window make me an offer, it's the German one from eBay and I couldn't get it in by myself :(

Nice car Carl. Pleased you've found yourself one with little to do. Am sure the leak can be fixed easily.
Am sure you'll be much happier with that one compared to the one I looked at
