So after impatiently waiting, I've finally got my first Zed.

Black 2001 2.2 sport with 125k

Needs a bit of tidying and some work but I'm very happy with it. 90 odd mile drive home through North Wales and did not miss a beat, even after being laid up for well over 6 mths. :coolsteer)

Hopefully the MOT doesn't flag anything major tomorrow...fingers crossed.

Was a toss up between going to see this in north wales or a 2.8 I had an eye on in Luton that looks equally as nice but higher miles. As I had to go to Chester today I thought I'd go and see the 2.2 and I'm glad I did.

Plus a got a great insurance deal from classic line insurance which came in at over half the price quoted on compare the meerkat!

Can't wait to get it on the ferry and back home so I can start doin bits. :detailing:

Be prepared for a lot of noob questions guys. =))

All the best with your MOT.
Your Z3 looks like mine did when I first purchased it.

Well done. Lotus White interior as well which is desirable.

Hope you didn't get pinged by an ANPR with no MOT though. MOT regs permit you to drive the car to the nearest MOT station (with a pre-booking) only ;)

Just had a look here for its MOT history
https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/
Last MOT expired July 2016.
Usual advisories listed in the history, suspension bushes and corroded brake pipes, wonder if they were rectified?
All easy DIY jobs if they haven't been done.
Let us know the result.

Looks a great car! What do you think of all the chrome bits on it?

Looks very nice from the pictures. I personally would loose the chrome bits but many will disagree. Enjoy, and good luck with the MOT.:)
