Missed this in the week Tony, with the weather and salt on the roads I'll have to decline untill the new year. Slid all the way down our little hill in the Fiat yesterday taking my grandson home showing him what black ice is all about. Good job they salted the main roads.

Probably just as well Roy the way the weather is. I guess I missed most of winter last year (8 weeks anyway) being in Florida. Just about to have a steady ride to the Mandarin for my Sunday tea mate.

Snowing for about an hr hear so far Tony and its forecast through till 0700hrs and we've got to be at Ryan's school for 0900hrs in the morning for his Christmas Play. Ground hear has been hard frozen for about a week so hope the gritters will get something done. Been thinking of buying him a sledge but looks like I might have left it too late for this week. Gonna look on the net see if I can get one. Gave three metal and wood sledges away about 11yrs ago.

Hope you can get the little fella a sledge mate and some snow to use it on. Last time I can remember sledging would be the winter of '63 on a long slope across from my parents home at Marton a couple of miles away.
We've not seen even a flake of snow yet here. We got Covid boosters last Friday and now I have a rotten cold. Connected? I saw a Gritter go past last thing this afternoon but didn't have beacons flashing so probably wasn't spreading.
Shirl will have to get used to a rear wheel drive car again after changing to the 420 from the Eos, last rear wheel drive she drove would've been a 1600 Chrysler Avenger in the late 80s so I hope we escape the worst of it.

Tony.

ps. Ice is building up on the fish pond where it sprays from the fountain.

Opened up 3 parking spaces at the Shed.
The Eos has gone,

And, the playhouse has been "flat-packed" and is now residing behind the garage. How long for . . . . ?

But at least we have some space. There are a couple of Saturdays free before we go back to the villa with our Gary, Izzy and Gemma if anyone needs anything doing?

Tony.

You don't owe me mate, but you could maybe lead a group in Sept?
If we do a Shed day I'll post it up on here Alex.

I could do with an oil/oil filter change, a bacon bap, and a chat. But, I only have this coming Saturday (1st of July) or the 15th July. I doubt I can get the oil and filter for this coming Saturday, but hey...

So, optionally this coming Saturday just for a bap and a bit of a chatter?

Yeah I do . . . . I know where I'm in debt. You're very generous with your time, knowledge, facilities and freindship mate.

And absolutely leading a group - no problem. I'm getting better at it - slowly. I did upgrade to gold on my-route, having access to proper maps makes a difference. I can now record a driven route, pull it up on the laptop to place markers in the right place, and provide links for people to download. I've just recorded a pre-run last weekend that should be going up on Z4Y shortly for a couple of weeks time.

I think last time's co-pilot wanted a bit of a drive, thats no problem . . . . (maybe he'll have better luck than me and not get stuck behind a hay-filled tractor this time).

Hi @t-tony

I was going up to the Zshed tomorrow for a chat, but due to illness in the family I will not be able to make it… Hopefully when you are back from your next holidays?

Sorry to read that Jose. Shirl and I are thinking a,Shed day on the 15th would work best for us. We're off back to the villa on the 22nd.

Tony.
