Can my car’s door cards and passenger window be done, please?

I have the materials to refurb the speakers, too.

And, after last year’s confusion: when can I take my car for it’s MOT? Is it a month before it expires and if it fails - fingers crossed it doesn’t - I will still be able to drive it, won’t I?

Don't think so, Possibly just the M gets that, be surprised if mine did.

I got mine from ECP and all are good. Even better when there’s a promo on!

Hi Dawn, I'm sure we can get some of it done weather dependant for working outside if necessary. Don't forget all the bits and pieces.

Re the MOT you can take it for test up to 30 days before the expiration of the old certificate. You should not drive it if there arises any faults which mean it is not safe to use. They may well tell you that you cannot drive it away, they cannot stop you taking it away and they will not call the police.

Cheers, matie. Yes, I have all the bits re: door cards - clips supplied via you (do I need more? For both doors); paint spray and backing felt for speakers; anything else?

The passenger window is a problem because whilst I make sure it’s aligned like how you showed me, I’m getting massive condensation in the car which is bad news.

I’ve sorted the third brake light leak with a new lens and it’s fine now.

Re: MOT. I can’t imagine there will be anything to make render my car underivable, tbh. I’ll check the Advisories and will seek advice here.
 
Unfortunately I’m in Plymouth that weekend :(
Hopefully be able to make the next one.
 
If I can find a trailer, I’ll bring mine with a box of bits.....=))=))=))

I'm hoping to be there Tony if I can find a cure for this awfull tinny rattle comming from under the car. When I get the rear tyres fitted I'll ask Richard if he can try and find the rattle which could be exhaust shield. Couldn't stand the racket all the way up to your shed.:eek:

I had an annoying rattle pal, turned out to be an exhaust bracket

Could be either yet Roy. Got my daily parked on the street so there are options. I'd like to get Reggie out if poss tho, have to see how things pan out.

Ordered Castrol from Euro car parts, still got the 50% offer so went with them.
