Hi everyone, hope you’re all recovered from the Christmas and New Year excesses. The Shed will be open for the usual services and repairs on Saturday the 25th. January at 10.00 am. What I know about up to now is,

Paul Z4. Gearbox and Diff. Oil change.
Richard Z3. Drivers door lock and a good look underneath.
Phil Z3. Fuel filter.
Dawn Z3. Door cards and speaker refurb, window guide

Tony.

ps. Anyone welcome as ever, for work or for just a visit and a reason to get the Zed out. ;)

Hi Tony,

Happy New Year.

I'll be up for coming down on the 25th. Thanks.

My hood is now sorted so nothing to work on there.
I need to look at changing the drivers lock with actuator. I could do with some guidance/help changing that over.
Once that is done I need to look at why the interior light doesn't come on when I open the doors.
Would be nice to have a look underneath as well and just make sure there is no rust causing any issues as it has been noted on MOT that the subframe is in need of some work.

I could fit the fuel filter we tried to fit last time. I'll get some Jubilee clips....

Defo mate.

Tony.

Missing this one mate, the C-in-C will be in the Midlands seeing her Mum and Step-Dad. Hopefully next time mate

Ok butter fingers, the jobs yours.=))=))

Tony.

Do i need to get replacement plugs and seals for the diff and gearbox? @t-tony
Also any recommendations for Oil and quantities?

Unless there's any evidence of leaks at either point I would not bother replacing the washers Paul. A good clean before refitting should be good enough mate. I would just get oil from a reputable retailer personally mate I know a lot of people buy from Opie Oils. Cant temember where Steve @Bozzy got his ?

Tony.

Have nothing on mine to do, but may well come over for a chat/coffee/buttie/banter/stick ;)
