Thanks Tony! Maybe a job for Sunday afternoon.
@t-tony quote: When you loosen the hose you will loose a very small amount of fluid (so place something to catch it or soak it up)All you need to do what you need is a length of wood (like a brush handle) about 3 feet long and a pair of Mole Grips. Put the end of the wood on the brake pedal and push the pedal down till you feel the pressure. Then clamp the grips to the wood where they can be wedged against the seat to hold the brake pedal down. This is NOT about applying pressure to the pedal but merely moving the position of the piston inside the master cylinder so that fluid cannot run through from the reservoir. When you loosen the hose you will loose a very small amount of fluid (so place something to catch it or soak it up) but after that as long as the pedal prop is in position you will not empty the system, leaving just the one brake to bleed up. It is quite a fiddly job to get the piston and dust seal back into the calliper. Make sure everything is spotlessly clean when rebuilding too. Hope this helps Phil.
This what you're trying to achieve with the wood and mole grips.

Here's a link for anyone that's interested to download the pdf file on this "How to Guide":

Sure it's not a speed ramp to slow @Sean d down when entering? Some of the regular Shedders will know that when it really rains here it comes in under the garage doors.
Time has come to fix this so I bought some weather strip of eBay to stop this happening.
Previously when it rained hard (like this morning) the side of the garage where my Z lives would be flooded the full width of the door and halfway along my car. After getting the trim cut to fit and laid across the doorway (Not stuck down yet though) this is definitely a huge improvement and when its stuck down there'll be no water getting in, or dust and muck.

Thanks @t-tony. I couldn't have done without you, @Mint and @Carl Brown. It's very much a #ZedShedMidlands publication.Dawn, @ktnez99 I take my hat off to you for producing this great "How to" for a service which, although carried out on a 2.8, will be very helpful to owners of the 4 Cyl. engine models too.
Tony.
Looking good TonySome of the regular Shedders will know that when it really rains here it comes in under the garage doors.
