Great work Zed Shedders, Looks like you have had a good productive day.

I see Tony didn't have time to clean the drive though .

Great day in Zedshed Midlands today!

Changed my front brake pads and discs so I don't have any more vibrations every time I brake :D

As usual brilliant day with everyone, thanks for all the help and questionable education =))

Well, it was a fairly busy day today. Jjim arrived and we made a start on his suspension swap. Jim had made a head start having built up his front struts ready to bolt on (Top man). Next job was an oil and filter change on Paul's Z4 alongside Jim's Z3. After we got Jim's car done we got Dave's Z3 in for new front suspension arms, drop links and "P" bushes. Alongside, Alejandro brought his car in to change front discs and pads. This while we waited for Dawn to come over at 3.40 to get her Diff. oil changed and we were going to change the Diff. Eye bush but when we lowered the Diff. we found the old rubber one in good condition so we left it be. Me and Dave road tested Dawns car and the difference in the car after having the N/S rear wheel bearing changed you would not believe, it's like a different car. You can actually have a conversation at 80 mph in a normal voice. Just as quiet as a Z3 should be. The old wheel bearing is absolutely fooked. Here are a few pictures much the same as the others. Roy borrowed my Makita and headlight polish to brighten up his Z4 headlights.

And finally me and Shirl.just got in at 9.45 after going over to the White Swan where Dave and Pauline treated us to tea in appreciation of helping with their car repairs, thank you both that was very kind of you.

That was lovely of the mint's Tony. If I'd have known I'd have hung about :D

I can't bloody move this morning after rolling around under Dave's car yesterday lol. My neck and back are killing me. I'm soooooooo old :(

Sorry late on here but didn't get back home till 23:30 last night pretty much shattered after a superb day at the shed. Great to see old and new friends and to get loads of work done on so many Zeds. For once my car was in having new lower suspension arms, drop links and lolipop bushes.

Welcome Tony, it was a great day and evening. We all come over and use your garage, tools, gloves, and expertise, not forgetting the teas and coffees so it was our way of saying 'Thankyou'

No photos from me, but Mrs Mint has some in her phone. We'll get them on later.

So once again Thanks Tony for hosting yet another great day and Shirl for being great company for Pauline.

Roll on the next meeting;)
