Bit of a change from the usual Z3's and Z4's today, had a 140i M in for front discs replacement, had been suffering from a judder when hard braking, diagnosed as warped discs after a test drive and inspection. Pads had been recently changed and passed inspection for use again with a clean and check for flatness.
New Brembo vented discs fitted after a bit of a struggle getting the disc retaining screw out of the old ones, slow and steady saved the day and the allen key held out getting them out. Good clean of the calipers and copperslip used sparingly on the metal to metal sliding surfaces top and bottom.
All went back together ok and wheels put back on. Test drive revealed the juddering was no more, problem solved.
Bit of a beast, performance was outstanding.
