Well for over a year we havn't been able to meet up and do jobs on our cars, today with the Welsh lockdown relaxed normal service apart from some social distancing saw a return. Been waiting over a year to get Julians 1.9 in for a camshaft sensor change and replacement of a CCV pipe that had gone soft. Both those jobs carried out followed by a oil and filter change. Still had three lights on the service indicator but treated it with fresh oil because we could whilst it was on the lift. Replaced the small vaccum pipes at the front of the cam cover as they were perished and cracking. Whilst on the lift and waiting for the oil to drain we

took the opportunity to inspect the underside for some advisories it had on last MOT, could do with a bit of a clean up of the rear trailing arms and some brake pipes renewed. Could do with some new Discs on the rear as well but nothing looking urgent. Overall its an unmolested car and would be a great little project that wouldn't break the bank. Julian is thinking of selling soon for a family car as needs must. Watch out for a For Sale AD in the For Sale Thread.

Second visit by Julian to Zed Shed Cymru this morning, jobs done were headlight lens polished clear followed by a quick jet wash of the rear end and then drying and wire brushing. The trailing arms and metal brake pipes all cleaned up and then given a coat of Hammeright Smooth to tidy them up. With the wheels off a quick check on the rear discs and calipers revealed its about time they were renewed that may be left for the next owner to sort with an adjustment on the asking price of the car. Probably going to have 2 rear tyres fitted for the sale. Will be an ideal project car for someone, rear brake overhaul and maybe a ccv refresh seems the only jobs that would need doing.
