Archived Zeds at Little Gransden Air Show 24th of August

We are organising a visit for Zeds to the Little Gransden Air Show on Sunday 24th of August.

Last year we lucky enough to be included in the BMWCC area and surprised the guys by the amount of Zeds that turned up, so much so, that we have enquired if we could have an actual Zeds line up, like the 7 Series had last time.

Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, although Matt, the BMWCC area rep. has said that he will try and accommodate as many as he can, so please only say if you are definitely able to come! We have already been asked to find out about this venue by several of the EAC.

Everyone who came last year said that it was the best Air show they had ever been to, with constant aerial and acrobatic displays, including a flying circus and the magnificent Vulcan which was the highlight of the show. This is not to mention the amazing variety of cars and vehicles of all ages on display.

Difficult to see how they could top it this year, but I bet they will try. Definitely a date not to be missed.

What part of France are you & Pauline going to, Dave and in the Zed, we presume?? We are going right down to Biarritz, just North of the Spanish border, for the 1st two weeks in July

Actually we're camping for 3 weeks in August so we'll be in the 4x4 as we like our home comforts. We've not decided exactly where we are going yet but probably down by the Med for a few days on the beach then up to Chamonix area for some walking. We've booked the tunnel but no camp sites.

Our Zed road trip is in June for 10 days and we're off down to Andorra. Looking forward to getting the Zed on the (smooth) French roads, then around the mountain roads in Andorra.

We have noticed from the show website http://www.littlegransdenshow.co.uk/vehicles.php that the display vehicles are limited to 250 places, so we must get a move on and put our quota in! So anyone interested please be quick!!!!

We've just reserved a room at the Premier Inn just off the A1 at Wyboston for Saturday night so we won't have far to travel on the day. Just hope that everything works out as we could see something spectacular

The Canadian Lancaster is due to leave on 4th Aug arriving at Coningsby on the 8th Aug.

Just checked the Little Gransden Air Show site and it gets better and better. Not only will both Lancasters be there but it has been confirmed that the last airworthy Vulcan will do a flypast with the Lancasters - the last 3 Avro heavy bombers in the world flying together.
