Zedless ! No more !

Fingers crossed that’s it’s just the wing.

I have dealt with loss adjusters many times in work before i retired and recently when i had a claim on my house policy
I have always found them to be very straight and honest in dealings and would always recommend using them
In no case have been a direct employee of the insurers

Thanks. Hopefully we should all be like that. CILA motto is Truth and Equity ...

I’ve only had one experience of working with Loss Adjusters and it was an awful experience. The company was called McLarens from Lincoln. They were definitely not impartial.

Oh dear, sorry for that Tony. I had 7 years in Saudi with Mclarens, I was their Riyadh Branch Manager. There they were good....

Hopefully I'll still be allowed a brew next time I visit the Zedshed, can I bring a peace offering ?

Water under the bridge now mate. This was back in 1994 when my garage was broken into in Gainsborough and all my tools stolen.
As a self employed man with a wife and 3 and a mortgage I was in a real bad place with very little left to earn an income.
McClarens people made feel like it was my fault it had happened and were generally very unhelpful.
On the flip side of the coin, a man from Gainsborough who I didn't know from Adam read about our predicament in the local paper (who had covered the story of our Carla's trip to Disney World) and he arrived at the garage on his bike one day saying how bad he felt for us and he presented me with and old ladies handbag full of his tools which he had kept on retirement, hoping they would go some way to help us keep going.
I still have some of those tools today and every time I use one I'm reminded of his generosity and McClarens apparent indifference to a self- employed young family man.

Maybe there is a god and he loves me! It's just the wing and I won't be without the zed for too long. Not only that, seeing the car without a wing and sill on confirms that it was a good buy. The main body behind is like new, not a sign of rust at all, just clean paintwork.I looked at a lot of cars , Z3 s and Z4 s , before buying this one and although it had quite a lot more miles on the clock than all the others I immediately felt it was a well looked after car. A stark contrast to a Z4, two years newer, that I saw this morning.

Good news Ken. Hopefully we will see you at Thoresby.

Good to hear Ken

Tony.

Good news Ken, you must have had all your fingers and toes crossed:whistle:

Good news Ken. If you're in your lane and stationary and you get hit the other party is at fault, that cannot be argued, surely?

Glad you are back on the road and damage was not too bad

Nice you're back together Ken.

Tony.
