Many many thanks to the organizers for arranging today's ZEDfest and the event staff for ensuring it ran smoothly.

It was great to meet up at Ollerton with fellow ZRoadsters and share the drive to Shepshed whilst avoiding road crazy cyclists and a stupid horseman who thought charging across the road on his steed between fast cars on an A road is acceptable and safe!

It was our first ZEDFest and my wife and I met many new people and learned loads of new things! From fixing sticking bonnet release cables, cracking wheels (literally), modified headlight lights, that autos are unlikely to damage differential mounts:thumbsup:, the mass of different specifications you can have, steering wheel modifications, inlet manifold conversions, that ladies can be as passionate about polishing cars as men can, where the micro switches are on the hood.... the list goes on. An awesome day!

Thank you from Caroline, Dave and Little MAU:)

What was on fire!!
We had to leave early (long story) and as we left there was plumes of black smoke going up in the vicinity of East Midland Airpot.

Well after a rather damp start it stopped raining and there were even the odd patches of sun shining through the clouds. As Mr Formby used to say, "Turned out nice again."

We had to leave early as we got a call at 11.30 that someone was at our house wanting to buy Gary's TOURAN. Today of all bloody days
Anyway found the guy at the Black Swan at Marton, took him for a spin and done the deal for a little less than we really wanted but at least it's sold.
Saw the Black smoke before we left and it was a big fire by the look of things.
Shame about the weather (me 'n' the Grumpy one will be having words;))=)) but it could've been much worse.
Always nice to see old friends and say hello to some new ones. Shared a little bit of my burger with Alan and Maxine's gorgeous puppy @Grumps, and it was only because I didn't know if he was a vegetarian that there was no meat involved.=)) only a couple of pictures, not the best turn out if im honest.
