Pretty sure there is a Travel Lodge or Premier Inn at junction 12 A42.
That would be the Ashby junction

Just checked, Premier Inn, With a Brewers Fayre pub/Restaurant type thing,
And a McDonalds too....If you dare

The link hotel is 1.6 mile from shepshed £45 double room or £65 with breakfast sounds good.

Going up sometime Saturday will have a few in the bar Saturday and doing event Sunday and off home after affraid.
Booked the breakfast as well.

Camping is on the saturday night for those who are doing that, music and BBQ will be on during the day 11.30am - 4.30pm

If I remember correctly, @Mac27040 did this ...or something similar last year

This is the new name to the successful midlands meet held in August each year. I am please to say we had over 90 ZED's on the day. A final figure will be confirmed.

We will be planning next years event which will include spaces for 150 ZEDs, a music tent with local acts and a DJ. Some stalls and of course the BBQ.

The event will be held on the 14th August 2016.
