my zed still has the original front tyres on and they passed the mot, I don't have enough time to drive it. That is going to change slightly. The mot said rubber is cracking, so I intend to fit 4 tyres soon and at least drive it more often. I will put a new back box on this year. It passes mots, but the outer metal I removed a few years ago.

I'm in Gateshead, so quite away from Lincoln (nice place, visited last year). What tyres would you recommend? I'm on a budget, as I need to do some other jobs this year.

Many options out there, Falkan get some good reviews. I've got Bridgestone on the front and a cheap make (Sunny) on the rear (came with the car). Had a bit of tramlining but that was probably down to worn suspension/bushes etc. Now sorted and once I'd fiddled with the tyre pressures (32 front and 34 rear) no tramlining and goes where I point it. The key here I think is sorting your undercarriage out first.
