I recently purchased a 05, Z4, with the SMG transmission. Interesting unit. Prior to that I had a 2000, Z3M roadster and a 1999 Z3 coupe.

I've been a member of the BMW Club of America since 2004, when I purchased my first BMW, a 325ci, conv, as a retirement present to myself.

That's my BMW story and I'm sticking to it. Pete.
