Good day all round what with meeting Mike who came over to ours to relocate 7 roof motors and all the guys who I'd not met before today.
I can only admire Mike for his dexterity and knowledge for the way he did these jobs in short order at the same time removing the possibility of these roof motors dying in the future. I think I'm right in saying all had been previously replaced and placed straight back into the dangerous area for them to fail again, that will not happen now.
First thing was to open the overspill car park.
Never met Richard Howard till today, a smashing chap who was a voice double for our daughter's father - in - law. Richard arrived before the Doctor.
Then Mike was soon there to start work.
Next patient was Ian (Redline) who also to the chance for Mike to run a scan on his car.
Ian and Richard seeing how it's done.
Like this, that's how.
Mike is just the right size for a Z4 boot.
Richard setting of home to Norfolk.
Quickly followed by another Ian (Ed the Z)
To watch Mike do these was amazing when you see the position he has to work in.
Niall (Nodzed) came along next soon followed by ZedM. Around about now I shot off to the local roadside café for some Butties.
The cruisers from Ollerton way came soon after and we all had a good natter and chatted about cars while Mike pressed on with the business of the day. After what was going to be the last one Jake24 from Z4Forum we were left with Ian, Mike and myself. My car was the last to be done and Mike said this was original and had not been touched and to be fair was in pretty good order with only the very bottom of the motor showing corrosion but was ready for removal to the safety of the boot area, so thank you Mike very much.
Hope you had a good run back home mate, see you around.
Tony.
