I can't see the difference between the 107's and 202's are they just different sizes?

Hi
Just thought i would let you know, my wheels are 107's and i have just fitted goodyear F1's all round and it's great, no where near as harsh on your teeth, and once they are scrubbed in properly , ( 150 miles or so ) they are brilliant.
Mine are 225.40.18 front, and 255.35.18 rears. If you look at the bolt hole, 107's are flat, and the others have a slight ridge to them, that's the only thing i can see between the two comparison pictures i've seen.. Hope this helps..

I prefer the cleaner face of the 107's to the 202's. Not really sure what the bulges on the bolt holes add to the design...

Ok, I'll take em off your hands for £50 - that should cover it=))

Yes, actually I prefer the 107's to the later ones, but neither come up for sale very often:(

That's a good offer in my opinion, but for some reason, my wife doesn't agree, and as soon as i get her hands from round my throat, i'll try to discuss it with her...:nurse: =))

Sorry Garry, thought I'd replied to you. As @davecci says there is a difference by the bolts but I think the 107's have a rounder hole than the 202's.;)

Hi @ljauto, I've bought a tin of Holts Tyre Weld and a small compressor of Ebay... They both fit under the floor in the boot behind the battery.

None, but a fast BMW bike instead!
OK my E85 had normal tyres when I bought it so when I came to change the wheels I kept the theme. My tyre of choice for my cars are Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas I have fitted these tyres (and their Wintrac range) to my various cars for about 15 years, (E39, E53, E90 etc) and they are about the best compromise between grip and wear I have found.

The wheels are total bling tbh I wish I had gone 18" because 35/30 section tyres have zero pliance and the car rides like a track day machine which is not so great on minor As and Bs in Devon.

I carry a space saver, a proper 18" BMW alloy one, trouble is my princess can barely get her handbag on the boot when I carry it!

I have knocked out about 60K over the last couple of years in F30s all with runflats and so have gotten used to the firmer ride and more noticeable road noise. The cost is I understand eyewatering but I don't have to buy them so I don't care.

The car is being swapped for an E89, with runflats, so I will let you know my thoughts.
