Think that's going to bring out the Red sparkle Bill, we will have to wear our sunglasses to view it!
If yours is like mine and looks ok in the shadows but you can see all the swirls in the sun then you will probably only need a 1 or 2 stage polish at the most. I would imagine as yours is in about the same condition as mine it would probably cost around the £300 to £400 mark. But when they are done its like looking at a black mirrorOK Bill no one has been so rude as to ask you how much does that cost, so I wont either!
I am hoping so as it looks absolutely stunning when the red flecks are showingThink that's going to bring out the Red sparkle Bill, we will have to wear our sunglasses to view it!
It was done last May. If you remember last August i felt the bodywork was looking quite swirly and started to machine polish it but could not get it A1 Now i know why. It is only when you put it under lights or in sunshine you would notice anything. When its a dull day the car looks great but then when the sun comes out it was what i thought were swirl marks.Ask the body shop nicely to pay up for their mistake. If they feel disinclined to do so then tell them your disappointed and it is sad that you'll have to name them on here to prevent anyone else from suffering the same fate. Get your detailer to take some pics before he starts to rectify the damage.
When was that front-end work done?
I hope it can be sorted to a good degree. With so much time between its likely they say you've done it washing it. Don't know how you counter thatIt was done last May. With my Detailer who told me today he tried shifting it with the harshest trade compound there is and it did not shift it. I just hope its not too far in the lacquer or it will be another spray job. The Detailer reckons he can get them out using 3000 grit but the trouble is how far down will he have to goI hope it can be sorted to a good degree. At least they quickly accepted responsibility. Also you will end up with the finish that you wanted despite the additional aggravating.I have spoke to the paint shop today who have told me to take it back under warrenty and they will sort the front end out.
More mucking about as it will then have to go back to the detailer to get the coating applied to the front
Good news but not good news if you know what I mean, I'm sure the body shop will make sure it's tip top if they know it's going to a detailer afterwards.I have spoke to the paint shop today who have told me to take it back under warrenty and they will sort the front end out.

I will be making a point of telling them that and also the detailer has done the back end so they will know what standard to get it tooGood news but not good news if you know what I mean, I'm sure the body shop will make sure it's tip top if they know it's going to a detailer afterwards.
