On Monday 15/5/17 the Zed is going in for some TLC.
I took it to a couple of professional Machine Polishers on Thursday to get a price on getting the paint as near flawless as possible.
Both places told me it only really needed a fine cut and polish and no way did it need a 3 stage polish. They both complemented on the car and how well kept it was which is good.
One of them could not fit me in till the end of June which was no good as we go on our euro trip on the 1st.
The other said he will see what he can do and he will let me know when he could fit it in. (I did tell him i was meeting with 40+ other Zeds next Sunday)
3 hours later he called me back and told me he had shuffled around 2 customers who did not mind and could fit me in on Monday and he would need it for 4 days.
So the car is now booked in to have a full body Machine Polish and Nano Coatings applied.
I will get him to take some before and after photos.
This is his Website

This is a Bentley he did. Hopefully mine will be just like the After Photo

Its costing me £400 and i am supplying the coating which has cost around £120. I would imagine if it required a full 3 stage cut and polish with coating then you would probably not get much change from £750 and i would imagine without coating for a 3 stage polish around £500

I assume the coating is some form of hardened clear coat @billz?

Its a nano coating which is like an enamel. I am having 3 coats put on. 1 coat Gtechniq Serum Light and 2 coats Gtechniq exo v2. Apparently it should last 3 to 5 years and i will only need to snow foam, rinse and use a quick detailer

Should look great afterwards and with the coating on make light work of keeping it spotless.
Looking forward to the result
