Z4 Coupe track/daily

So I did a hack job, I just cut the 2 foglight cables and swapped them around. Left is now right and other way around, just imported it so that's nice

Went to the ring!

It needs work i had to stiffen up the coikovers because it was floating all over the place, after that it felt dialed, except for the brakes fading like hell. Need to mount the m135i brakes!

Great photo, have you changed the brake fluid for higher temp fluid? The OEM brakes are really very good with fresh fluid and a decent set of pads.

yeah well I know but i like the look of the m135i calipers alot haha so It's more the look and then a bit of performance.

They do but it's not a simple bolt on job.
Do you have more information on the install?

Also tried to install the buckets, but the freaking sidemounts don't fit the seat brackets... have to get new ones on monday I suppose :(

Another coupe owner fitted these but couldn’t find anyone who made brackets. It took him along time to get some made so they fitted.

So just a little update,

I have fitted both seats properly now. And today I wanted to take some pictures but someone had to pass me, and I couldn't get the car to start anymore.. Battery dead. So I got some help from a friend and got her up and running again with some booster cables.

Got me a new battery right away, and a new problem occured(which probably was already there).

It overheats in traffic or when idling for very long. Turns out the fan doesn't come on. I checked the fuse which is just fine... can anyone shed some light on this problem?

Bonus pic of when the battery was dead:

Not sure where the fan switch is located but if you find it test the term9nals with a test light with ignition on to see ehich is live, and bridge the terminals in the plug the fan should run. If not it's the power feed missing. If there is power and the fan doesnt run then tbe fan motoor is suspect.

Tony.

Also, our engines have electric water pumps using INPA you can see if its making a sufficient flow or even logged a code. They are prone to going.

I checked with INPA it said it was the fan

EDIT: + it doesn't run hot when i'm driving
And the fan also doesn't turn on when I turn the AC on
