Really excited about a new period in my life, but sadly it means my lovely Z4 might have to go. A Change in personal circumstances will see a new venture and mean construction site visits which is not the place to be taking Ruby...!

Wrong time of year I know but the question is anyone interested and how much?

Si don't do it you will be gutted later on:banghead:, you have a great looking Zed keep it and buy a run around:thumbsup:

I really hope the job is worth it! =))
Seriously - if you can, SORN it for a few months, get a run around then decide.

Yeah I know, it's the chance to be my own boss - took voluntary redundancy after 34 years and spent the last few months procrastinating as you do. Massive support from home but visiting clients and construction sites in the Z4 may just wreck it.

A Zed and a Freelander is a popular combination. I've lost count of how many have that pairing. The FL2 is a great distance car and versatile. But, if you're starting out in your own then finances may it allow. It would of course be a business expense!
Wish you all the very best and every success in your new venture.

You cant sell my twin.
Price will depend on year and mileage as always but i would reckon on putting at the top end of the market for such a well looked after car.

Funny you should mention the freelander 2 @Redline but that's just the mode of transport we are looking at - but -" money in money out" and all that and I haven't earnt enough yet.

It's a great car. Hope you can get some finance sorted to get something to do the job.

OMG NOOOO Si you got a stunner don't let her go :(:(:(

...and I thought Beatrice was your Zed's twin?

@Si don't do it. 'Crazy Dave' isn't interested in buying it this time!

Great looking Z you have @Si :p
Don't sell it ;)
You won't get what she's worth at this time of year :)
Your Z looks spotless ;)

Could you maybe buy a cheaper work car while you build up your business and sorn the zed? I have considered letting mine go recently after a barrage of rubbish events but some friends on here have pursaded me otherwise. Peeps are right tho, these cars are in the blood, sell it you'll regret it.
If that's not an option as @billz has said ask top money for it, I don't know your car but it's a cracking colour combo so don't give it away. Good luck what ever you decide.

Update....not for sale this side of the new year...yeah

Ruby is sharing the drive again with something new for the winter weather and maybe more, our hhouse hold, it seems, cannot function without 5 seats and a large boot.... so if I have to have one it should be one of these I think. So my new daily driver picked up this evening 170 ish mile round trip.

Just how much snow do you get Stacey?? I drove mine last year well into our snowy season with little difficulty, even better than the Nissan Altima we have that got stuck if there was a snowflake on the ground! lol tried many sets of tires, no difference. JIM

Bring on the snow then:thumbsup:so glad you kept your car:)

Hope you keep it @Si be a shame to miss out every summer.
