Hi all, just came across these on Gumtree, both at the Ainsdale Car Centre Southport. The Z3 is a 1999 1.8 66k in regulation Topaz (like mine) with a blue interior, the Z4 is a 2012 2.0L manual probably about 70k, on a short MOT in grey. Just Google the dealer name. Good luck to anybody interested. Chris

Both have the least desirable engines, there are lots of 2.0 L E85 s for sale on facebook. Never cease to be amazed at the wide variety and sometimes wildly optimistic asking prices.

Dealers who know absolutely nothing about Z’s will keep putting them out there as future classics and asking silly money for car’s that most enthusiasts wouldn’t be particularly interested in.
My favourite recently was the 2.8 with a “ gorgeous V6 engine “, another one is that everything has a “ wide body” ,must be one of the most over used sales lines on a non fat arse car!

Some men are well endowed most are not, bit like Z3&4s dress em up and they all look real nice and in a traffic queue really don't matter what's under the bonnet. Perhaps they should have made them with glass bonnets so we can see, maybe us men should be walking about in transparent trousers. Don't let's go down mine is bigger than your's route. Why!!! Cos I think we all know the answer to this so obvious question. SORRY Z'ers who only bought Z for its engine size,
Ladies think twice before adding any comments, "PLEASE"

Agree with comments above, but I was pointing out that for whatever reason, the four pots don't attract the same money and a lot of buyers/owners want the biggest engines, wheels, etc. Personally, I think the M44 Z3 is a great choice for performance and balance. Also, I didn't really find much difference driving on our roads between my 2.8 and my 2.2 Z3 s.
Going back to advert prices , I've just seen two pretty much identical Z4 E85 2.0L cars on facebook, similar mileage at around 74k and history etc. One at £3500 which seems about right, the other at £6500 !!
