Well that turned out fine in the end, Maf's are troublesome to diagnose they either work or they dont or mis report what they see. You might get away with spraying Maf cleaner on the sensor but in my experience that didn't work for me, it killed mine completly. I fitted a oem replacement at great cost and it transformed the car instantly. I had looked at what the faulty Maf was reporting in live data on my diagnostics, it was performing but obviously not as it should hence the bad running. My symptoms showed up as the car feeling held back when driving it, fuel trims were high as well. The new Maf restored everything instantly.
