mmm lot of relevant stuff raised already , cant say its the best car to drive (boxster far superior to drive have both) but the z3 has as charm and its for me kinda the good old fashioned, good looking compact British roadster you always promised yourself, but with a modern build quality, what an MG should have become maybe. The retro styling has aged better than most, its well built and compared to say an MX5 its has a butchness about it, it looks like a blokes car as all proper roadsters should 
. The 2.8 is a cracker of an engine, and comes with the original rarer wide bodied shape, if you havent seen one do a comparison, I think it just sets the car off

Best thing for me is the colour (Mora) and looking in the wing mirror at the beautiful curve of the rear wheel arch. Top down cruising around at 50 mph just enjoying the drive. If I want to tare up the roads I ride a two stroke.
Worst thing is polishing the thing all the time. I like to keep her looking her best.

M44 feels fast and raw and within speed limits is great fun. Excellent VFM.
MC is fast and "mile eating", but license threatening. Too expensive to buy now for many, which is a great shame.
