Thanks again for suggestions. I will check the various possibilities for water getting on to the floor and report back. I tried pouring water directly into the drains inside the car and it exits out of the cills so maybe there are two separate problems.

Hi from Canada !! I think your door membrane is loose on the bottom and allowing water to get into the inner car rather than draining for the door. Easy fix, just pull the door card and replace the butyl membrane between the liner and the door metal! HTH. JIM

A bit late on this thread but is there any link or how does one replace the membrane behind the door card? Can't seem to find the part no. on hubauer.de or what adhesive to use etc.

Good luck with that one.
I'm not aware of anybody making new membranes, shame as it is a vital piece of the jigsaw in keeping water exiting as designed.
Let me know if you find a supplier.
