Z3 vs z4 owners

I've never waved at a Z4 as its not a classic and probably never will be =)) however, I have had lots of waves off Z3s, it must be a classic car thing. :D

i always wave at car,s even if they stop or slow down i do cheap rates & no cum backs ?

There's this one mardy Z3 driver who doesn't wave back despite the fact I see her drive past everyday.

I flash my headlights furiously when I see her go past. And I also practically have my arm sticking out the window waving like mad, but... nothing. :(=))

However, most other z3s that go past tend to wave back. :) First ever wave I got was from a 3.0l Silver Z3 in Wigston, Leicester. This was when I first got my car.
 
On this matter: yesterday I crossed a guy queuing on a beautiful Z3 Coupe, lowered on some styling 32 that looked fresh AF, I gave him a thumbs up from my company car (an SUV) and he looked at me very grumpy :(...but in Belgium things are different.:ymdevil:
 
I think is more to do with age than the car,
When i had a VW T4 almost everyone you,d pass would give a wave.
Now i have a VW T5 hardly anyone waves i think its do do with it being a more modern vehicle.
Plus theres the fact how many people know about this wave thing? I dident till i read this post. Explains a lot now :)
 
I waved a two Z3s yesterday :p
And didn't get a wave back ;)
Think it depends what mood the person is in :)
 
Well,I'm always getting waves from other drivers whatever car I'm driving. They are usually sort of a victory sign for some reason!
 
I met some Z4 owners today.

They were alright ;)

I discovered that since they all have broken cup holders they are all too busy holding their coffees to be able to wave, not their fault!

Never had a wave in the Z4, from Z3's or Z4,s, so given up now. Had plenty when I had a Z3. Z4 is a more refined car. But still miss my little Z3, my reasoning on getting a Z4, try and get European breakdown cover on a seventeen year old car, So with a trip planned for next year down to Spain easy to get breakdown cover and a lot more comfy.
 
They're two totally different cars Jim, very hard to compare them. As regards acknowledgement from other drivers, there many times more out there who are not on this or any forum than are. They just don't get the "waving" thing.
