Z3 Shopping with @Bigtoe

Sorry can't really help, fitted mine by getting my cheque book out. (Soft top shop Stockport £660 with vents)
After once fitting the then zipped rear screen didn't fancy attempting the roof left it to the professionals.

Mines getting bad now. It's a big save up operation between now and new year. Xmas and birthday money requests should see a nice new blue roof next spring.

Well I got a Z, although not the one I did a 400mile round trip for (a 3.0 great engine and mechanics but in need of more tlc than I have time or spare cash for) but none other than Rosie a 2.2 Sport in blue (Gary's car)can't wait to pick it up. Have to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Stacey & Martin, you are absolute stars coming with me + Nicole to checkout the car then hooking me up with Rosie, I owe you guys.
Welcome to the forum from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. I have read this thread and was very happy to see that you purchased @GazHyde car. If you want to put a new top on yourself, it's not impossible. I did it but made a more difficult job of it because I didn't purchase the correct top. After it was on, I had to have a pro make some changes to make up for the mistake in my order which wasn't too difficult.
I know the car you've purchased as I traveled 3200 miles to ride in it. It was in excellent condition when I rode in it as opposed to the driver who got us 'lost' while cruising around Windsor. I really had a great time that day thanks to Gary.
You have posted pictures of the car for the forum to see, now let's show them what it sounds like from a video I took while a passenger in the car. This was taken after Gary had shown me some sights and we were looking for the garage my rental was parked in and I was also getting an "English" lesson. Many of the forum members have already seen this:...............................Frankie
