I am close to purchasing a 1997 Z3 1.9L with a tan interior that does not have a roll bar or hoops. I am wondering if Z3 owners have guidance regarding a continuous roll bar vs hoops. And, where to find the necessary hardware to install. My understanding is that the back storage console would need to be modified / replaced as well. If I can find the hardware, I am hoping to install it myself, unless it requires someone experienced in such work. Maybe someone has all of the hardware that they removed from their tan Z3 that they might want to sell. Thank you.
