Is the Z3 supposed to have a double horn application? My sounds embarrassingly ridiculous as in Nody like :( Mine just has the one having checked.

Thanks.

@andyglym just went out in the rain to have a look there is one horn on either side in the same location.
On mine you can see them if you look down directly behind the headlight you should be able to see it down behind the bumper.

Only if they’re your one and only horn. Multiple tone horns are all illegal though. Mine were La Cucaracha!

I used to have air horns on my Capri years ago used to play the general lee tune , worked off a separate switch , sounded great especially going under railway bridges , (got me thinking now )

Yep, same as mine. They were on a Mini Clubman Est.., a 72 Capri, a Mk.1 Consul (Granada) and lastly a Chrysler Alpine and they were a blast under the local rail bridge before they took it down. I had a long pair of single tone ones on my Euros too.

Yes @t-tony I should have said that :oops:.

As your main horn ie the factory one no multiple tones ,bells, gongs or sirens allowed for mot.

Now if you wire up things like that separately that becomes between you and the local constabulary :D:D

Andy work out which side is working take multiplug off not working side put multi meter or test light check for power ( more than likely the horn failed both run from same initial wiring so if one working other should have power)

Sounds like by what your saying you needs a low tone
