Before I purchased my Z3 I had read lots of reviews and watched lots of videos where everyone raves about how well the Z3 coped with driving in all conditions.
well I must say the reviews do not do the car justice, they are absolutely brilliant.
I have just got back from seeing a friend who lives down in Bude, okay not a massive drive from Surrey to Cornwall but consider this.
I set off at 5.50am on Friday to drive to Brighton for work. The M23 was closed and all surrounding roads flooded, this journey usually takes 50 minutes but on Friday it took 2 hours. I even had the bin men in Hayward’s heath telling me to turn around.
We made it to Brighton and after a couple of hours work, I then spent the next 6.5 hours driving to Bude in some horrendous weather.
Had a good night down in Cornwall and drove back to Surrey in more rain and floods.
The car was faultless and now needs a good clean.
this will be happening over the next few days as it well and truly deserves is.
I did of course have the hardtop on for the whole journey
