Z3 owner in Bucks

Evening all, I am now the proud owner of a 20 year young z3, 2.8....... she is thirsty.

Picked her up last week, done around 140 miles, I love her. The snaking on the motorway is a lovely feature.

Look forward to all the forum has to offer and the usual banter. Not looking to modify or improve the old girl too much, mainly focused on keeping her true and straight.

While I'm here if anyone is selling some 5 spoke 17 inch wheels I am very interested. I currently have some 18 inch black beauties that aren't to my taste.

I am jealous, I was very much in the miss daisy camp and used well over half a tank, albeit there was some gentle tickling with my right foot. Leak? Let's hope so..

May just need a good service and a dam good thrashing.

Edit: 140 miles on a 2.8 is easily in half a tank plus territory in moderate mode. Not built for economy.

Oh that's ok, still breathing at the minute. Service is first on the list, new fluid all round, engine, box, diff, coolant, brakes, clutch sort the fuel filter and other service bits as well. She drives well to be honest, different from my daily but enough to put a smile on your face. In terms of thrashing, she'll get one every time I get in her!

Sorry didn't mean to offend or worry. I am not a stalker, referring to the area. I haven't seen hardly any zeds about, looking forward to meeting up with some though, only the rubbish cars though as I don't want mine to feel out of place
