The drivers mirror on my car is snapped at the spindle. Of the S/H ones I've seen so far they're not much better. I'm not inclined to pay upwards of £65, and that one had cracked glass, for some corroded rubbish when these are £100.

Has anyone fitted one? Are they robust enough?
Painting and transferring bits over is no worry.

Cheers
Iain

Got these fitted on mine. Really good and paint finish is excellent.

Very easy to transfer over all the internals and covers.

Yep, diver side on mine is one of these. No brainer as a replacement for a corroded metal one

Fantastic, thanks very much indeed. I'll order one then. EBay had +ve reviews but wasn't sure.
Getting what remains of the old one off will be an adventure, someone's attempted a repair with chemical metal or similar, no fastener holes to be seen ;-)

I can vouch for these having installed one, bonus is it will keep the mirror foldable for longer as there is no bimetal corrosion seizing it up like the factory ones
